Power and ground wire need to be separate. Power can be ran with same main wire different inline fuse. You can link the remote wire together. One of your amplifiers needs to have an RCA output for the second amplifiers RCA input (there are ways around this).

It sounds like you are having issues unrelated to the extra wires. Having extra wires isn’t always a bad thing. What doesn’t work? Nothing powers on at all?

Look for a small square opening with two metal teeth inside. The metal teeth can be separated to hold a power wire tight (with a connector). The opening will be labeled Power, PWR or ACC. You can also check the manual for a diagram of the fuse box. Not all cars come with extra power hook-ups in whic...

Sorry can’t remember ever adding a CD changer to a 1995 Town Car factory Lux Sound System. I do however have an easy fix for you. Unplug each coax one at a time, which ever one cuts out the FM reception use it.

Well that can depend on if you still want to use the decks speaker output. The use of Y connecters may also depend on the decks RCA power output. You may want to consider using a cheap crossover for RCA connections. Hope that helps.

Most manufactures tell you not to use only one of two voice coils. Assuming the subwoofers are dual 4 ohm they can be hooked up 4 ohm into one channel. Hook each subwoofer’s voice coils in a series connection. Then connect the two subwoofers in a parallel connection.

Use the max power for your deck 52. Find speakers that handle at least 52 watts RMS. This will allow you to use any eq settings without blowing anything. Don’t go too high above 52 watts or your speakers will be distorted from lack of power. Hope that helps.

Do you have your subwoofer wired parallel? A diagram can be found at http://www.discountcaraudio.net/parallelseries.html. Are you wiring the voice coils directly into the amplifier? Or do you first wire them into the connector in the subwoofer box? If yes how many connectors on your subwoofer box?

Bass eq setting and use of bass blockers will determine the amount power a speaker can handle. Unless you give in ...
