I have a '96 Olds 98 with cd/tape with steering wheel controls. If I put in 2(two) Kenwood KFC1079ie and KFC-16801ie 1 of each lf and rf would I wire them in series or parrallel. I don't know the ratings on the factory radio but the speakers currentnly in there are 4ohm and 6ohm in parrallel.

I doubt your factory cd-player is stable down at 2 ohms. I recommend hooking your speakers in a series connection. Nothing lower then 4 ohms.

Thanks for the help. The amatuer guys around here were running 50-50 on parallel or series.
