Sound quality

Postby uqdah2000 » Mon Aug 21, 2006 12:06 pm

I installed a Rockford Fosgate 700s (2-ch) amp & 2 Audiobahn 12" subs enclosed in a box. I had this same set-up in another car, it sounded better then. The differences are the RCA cables and this time I stayed with the Fcatory '02 Maxima Bose head unit. I used a hi-low adapter b/c factory radio has no pre-amp output. The hi-low adapter has adjustable gain, but I forgot to adjust the original setting. The RCA cables appear to be lower quality this time around. What do you think the problem is? :(

What seems to be the problem just clarity or volume level too. How much of a difference is there? Does your hi-low adaptor have any knobs besides gain? What is the brand and model of your hi-low adaptor?
