dvc subwoofers

is it necessary to use all the voice coils of the dvc sub woofers,if i want to connect 2 dvc woofers with 1 mono amp (amp stability 2/4 ohm) so how can i coonect to the voice coils? and at how many ohms i will be driving the woofers ?

Most manufactures tell you not to use only one of two voice coils. Assuming the subwoofers are dual 4 ohm they can be hooked up 4 ohm into one channel. Hook each subwoofer’s voice coils in a series connection. Then connect the two subwoofers in a parallel connection.
