2003 Impala Need Help

Postby Impala03 » Tue Dec 26, 2006 11:48 pm

I'm looking for stereo removal instructions for 2003 Impala LS w/ CD Cassette Factory stereo. I'm installing a Sirius Satelite radio.
Would appreciate any assistance.

Do you know how to remove the stereo?

Install Garage;
can you assist me with how to remove the dash panels that are in front of the stereo face?
I've seen instruction papers online but I don't feel it's right to have to pay for them do you?

Help me if you can.

The best advice I can give you start with the top most piece. Take off the screws you can see, then gently pull the dash. The spots where there is no give is where a hidden screw is located. Such as inside a heater vent. Spots that give a little but then snap back could be attached with hooks that can be popped out. Sometimes you have to remove surrounding dash pieces to completely remove. Hope that helps, sorry I couldn’t be more specific to your car.
